Kispiox Valley Music Festival

Hosted in the last weekend of July every year in the Kispiox Valley.

Gitanmaax Cultural Days

At the ‘Ksan Historical Village, the Mauritanian Cultural Days bring together local and regional First Nations and non-First Nations. The event includes many dance performances and various light-hearted competitions such as soapberry ice cream making. This event takes place the third weekend in August.

New Hazelton Winterfest

To celebrate the coming of Winter, the District of New Hazelton organizes a Winterfest every year that invites everyone to an evening of caroling, sledding, bonfires, hot chocolate, draws, and more!

Canada Day

Canada Day is our biggest celebration of the year. All of the Hazeltons gather together for a pancake breakfast, kid’s games, parade, music and a soapbox derby. There is fun to be had by everyone. In the recent years, it has been hosted in Allen Park.

Kispiox Valley Rodeo

A community rodeo event hosted every year. As a non-profit organization, they aim to host a spectacular show annually. If you’re looking for an old-fashioned rodeo, look no further. The events contains dances, bull riding, barrel racing, bareback riding, and more.

Gospel Mountain Music Fest

A gathering of Christian Musicians, music lovers, and youth groups to share their love of God and faith experience with songs. Performers gather for a weekend to sing and praise at the Community Gospel Chapel in the District of New Hazelton.

Hazelton Farmers' Market

On Sunday Mornings from 10 to 2 at the New Hazelton Tourist Center, farmers gather together to demonstrate their agriculture prowess with their garden produce, most delectable baked goods and handcrafted foods, and the finest local crafts from the Hazeltons.

Pioneer Day

Pioneer Day is hosted in the Village of Hazelton each August to celebrate our towns’ heritage. There are parades, wagon rides, vendors and kid’s activities.
